ROHS

SUBSTANCE RESTRICTION ACCORDING TO EU DIRECTIVES ROHS, WEEE

The European directive RoHS aims at the restricted use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic appliances. It is identically applicable for all member states of the EU. You will find the corresponding KME declaration in the Download Center.

Use of metals from conflict regions
In the composition of the metal alloy, KME products may contain tin or have a coating containing tin or gold constituents. KME only procures tin as raw material from approved/registered suppliers as 100% recycling material. KME does not directly purchase material from conflict mines, and KME does not knowledgeably use such material that originates from conflict mines.

Acceptance catalogue for copper scrap
KME is able to accept and rework secondary raw material of copper and copper alloys although the material is declared as waste on the part of the producer. The disposal number is: C6K100000.
