KME France SAS is the French manufacturing company of the KME Group which, together with its subsidiary KME Brass France SAS, is the French leader in copper and copper alloy products, distributed as rods, tubes, rolled products and brass wire and profiles. Up to 1.5.2007 the company was known as Tréfimetaux SA
KME France SAS together with its subsidiary KME Brass France SAS is the French market leader and boasts a prestigious history in the French metalworking industry, with its first plant founded in 1892.
Today, KME France has a turnover of over 800 million euro and a workforce of over 1,000 (in 2008).
All French plants are quality certified ISO 9001; the Boisthorel plant has also obtained ISO 14000 environmental management certification.

COMPANY HISTORY
After twenty years with the Péchiney Group, in 1987 KME France (or Tréfimétaux, the name maintained until April 2007) was acquired by KME Group (at that time, SMI). In 1995, following the merger of KME France into the Group, all its business was integrated into KME’s international divisions.
