KME’s cooling elements can be found in all types of furnaces, the most common being the electric arc furnace but they can equally be applied to smaller furnaces such as those used in the melting of Nickel.
Cooling elements can be designed in different forms and shapes with a wide range of cooling channel designs. Upon request, KME can provide detailed support in the design of new cooling elements.
Furthermore, KME will also do all the detailed engineering based on the customer’s design drawings.
Since KME also manufactures the raw material for the cooling elements, various design alternatives are possible in order to fully satisfy the customer's needs. Lastly, different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and even the highly innovative electron beam welding can be applied.
