The joint venture between KME and China's Dalian Dashan Group aims to secure a major foothold in the growing Chinese steel industry, with the manufacture of high quality engineered products.
Founded in 1992, the Dalian Dashan Group is one of the leading manufacturers of Copper engineered products in China. KME entered the joint venture in 2004 and has an active participation that spans three separate companies (70% held by KME).
KME-Dalian Dashen JV was created to specifically serve the growing Chinese steel industry and the venture has seen production, turnover and profit grow significantly over the years. In 2009, the partnership gained a substantial increase in capacity when it moved to a new production facility in the economic and technology zone of Dalian.
