Gutter stop ends complete your gutter

Gutter stop ends

These are offered as flat – and ball-ended – stop ends. The connection to the gutter is preferably carried out by soldering or seaming.

The universal stop end enables fast and safe assembly without soldering. By this method, materials that are trickier to solder, such as TECU® Patina, can also be connected to the gutter by seaming the universal stop end. It fits to either end of a gutter, respectively improving stability and installation. Seaming alone of stop ends provides a sufficient joint, but if desired a totally watertight seal can be accomplished using a proprietary sealing compound before or after assembly.

Assembly of gutter stops

ASSEMBLY

  1. Bend up the gutters’s back edge using pliers.
  2. Tap the stop end onto the gutter by using a hammer. Thereby the end of the gutter should engage approx 3-5 mm within the stop end’s 90° return fold.
  3. Then firmly crimp the return into a seamed joint using pliers.
