KME is a modern industrial group, deeply rooted in the history of European industry as well as the personal history of the Orlando family, one of the oldest Italian industrial dynasties.

In the Nineteenth Century, the Orlando family played a leading role not only in the unification of Italy, but also in the birth and growth of the national industry.

Now, over one hundred years later and thirty years after its expansion into the international marketplace in 1987, KME is:
