The takeover of MKM by KME was formally completed on 28 February 2019. The partners look on this date as the beginning of a collaboration which offers significant benefits to customers.
'In our case, one plus one is actually three,' says Ulrich Becker, CEO of KME SE. This belief is visualised through the new company logo, which now depicts this partnership. The striking MKM mark, known as a Möbius loop, is added to the distinctive KME lettering. This ensures that an integral, and distinctive, part of the MKM identity is preserved. It also makes it clear to all market players that this is a new, strong brand.
'We love the new logo, as it visualises how seriously we are setting out upon this shared path,' says Hermann Kersting, head of marketing communication at KME. Further information and applications of the new look will be provided shortly.
