The Lodge is a four building complex with the same use as tourist accommodation, designed to expand and differentiate the range of accommodation offered by the Villaverde Hotel & Resort, a modern superior facility located in Fagagna (UD), Italy. Built on a golf course, the buildings are fully immersed in nature and connect with the main facilities of the resort via a dedicated path and bike trail.

The designers responsible, Uppercut Design aimed a deep relationship with the landscape, creating an uninterrupted dialogue between inside, outside and with windows that frame "emotional pictures" to the view. The dynamic design is unique and pays attention to the choice of sustainable building materials according to their life cycle.

The choice of external cladding materials was for concrete to the volume of the ground floor and the upper floor clad with TECU^® Gold giving the buildings a discreet value image. The copper alloy fits perfectly to the surroundings as it is more than overpowering gloss: TECU^® Gold cladding, will soon after installation develop a very elegant matt brown-golden appearance reminiscent of gold in a very specific way. Depending on the incidence of light on façade surfaces, a fascinating, unequalled play of colours can be witnessed.
