KME offers copper and copper alloy for additive manufacturing based on its high quality materials. The powders are manufactured by melting down the well-known KME alloys to achieve the highest standards of purity and composition. KME copper and copper alloy are produced by gas atomisation with subsequent sieving and air separation processes. This ensures that KME powders have almost spherical particles, optimum particle sizes and a good particle size distribution.

This results in high flowability and a very good bulk density. In addition, KME powders are characterised by very low humidity. This combination of properties results in an even and dense powder layer application in the additive manufacturing process. The component density achievable with KME powders is very high.
