Osnabrück, 19.08.2022 - As an energy-intensive company, energy supply and energy transition are of particular relevance for the production of semi-finished and finished products made of sustainable copper and copper alloys for KME. Lower Saxony's Minister President Stephan Weil (SPD) was able to gain an impression of these topics at KME.
Together with the management and the works council of the two companies KME Germany GmbH and KME Special Products & Solutions GmbH, current developments in energy efficiency in the various operational areas were highlighted and economic topics discussed at the Osnabrück site.

With sustainable corporate measures, KME makes a significant contribution to climate protection. The transformation of production methods and associated operational processes is the focus of the targeted development towards climate neutrality. Above all, its unlimited recyclability makes copper a particularly climate-friendly material.
